Now that I have been using the Market Monitor software for a while, I have produced a new 30-min video. This covers some useful tips for using Market Monitor to make a profit, as well as answering some questions that I have received by email.

With many services, you need to place large bets just to make enough money to pay the subscription, let alone make a decent profit. And in these financially difficult times, most people cannot afford to try out new services and lose money.

UK Betting Exchange Tips

Mark Baker (creator of the highly-successful LayBotPro and BetBotPro betting software) has just introduced a new piece of software called Market Monitor All Sports Pro. This software is specifically designed for placing bets on Betfair whilst events are “in-play”

Normally, betting in-play is not recommended because odds are changing so rapidly (for events such as horse-racing rather than cricket) that you are usually betting somewhat blind. However, this new piece of software dramatically alters the ease of placing bets in-play – and being successful.

Mark has released a series of 3 videos that show the software in operation as well as real-time betting showing how easy it is to make a profit.

Whilst the software does give you a marked advantage in being able to make a profit from in-play betting, there are a few disadvantages that you need to be aware of.

Firstly, bets cannot be automatically placed in advance – you need to be at your computer monitoring the race and placing bets manually. This involves both time and skill. It also involves concentration so you may not be able to bet in-play for more than 30mins to 1 hour each day.

Secondly, the price! The software is sold as a one-off payment ie there is no monthly subscription. However, it costs almost £300 which will put it out of the reach of many people.

Having said that, the profit potential of using the software is such that you should be able to recover the cost of the software very quickly.

I plan to check the software out and produce a video showing how I get on with it.

New betting services appear on a weekly basis and most of them do not stand the test of time. Indeed, I don’t even bother mentioning them on this blog.

But every so often, up pops a service that gets my attention and I keep track of it over a period of time to see how it performs.

One such service is Sports Betting Dynamics run by Tom Daxton.

Sports Betting Dynamics concentrates on American sports such as NBA basketball and NFL football.  You can read more on their website by clicking here

Although the service is not open until 1st March, I was able to sign up for a free trial that started on 1stFeb (the trial has now closed due to the large number of people who signed up). An email is sent out every day with the recommended bet(s) and stakes. Bookmakers with the best odds are also shown and you should note that not all bets can be placed on Betfair. This is because Betfair does not always provide the whole range of bet types available for American sports.

To date, the trial has produced a profit of just over 33 points.

I recommend that this is a service worth looking at. Although the subscription service does not open until 1st March, you should sign up on the website for early notification. The past results and success of the free trial indicates that this service will soon be fully subscribed

Well, i have several comments to make about this service which indicate that you should be very careful if you feel inclined to join.#

1) There is no website whatsoever. you sinply have to take Ian Burrows word that the service is as good as he claims.

2) If “Martin Williams” is genuinely making £100 per day, then why not have a video showing us all his Betfair account with the profits? And is he really called Martin williams, or is there some attempt being made to capitalise on my name?

3) If anyone has a system that produces a strike-rate of 100% (and I don’t believe such a system exists), then why on earth would you let other people in on the secret? Why has Martin Williams stuck at making £100 per day? Why hasn’t he raised his bets so that he’s raking in more and more money over time?

It just doesn’t make any sort of logical sense. If you have £250 to risk on a 6-month subscription, then do let me know how you get on. but – in my opinion = you should avoid this service

One of my readers has been very, very, very naughty (you know who you are!) and has sent me a copy of the 18 page pdf that you get for your £37. (That’s £2 per page!)

From the promotional website that I showed in the video, you will see that the site says that ‘you will make between £10-£1000 per week’. Quite a boast!

Yet the manual is far more cautious and warns ‘We will not be held responsible in any form of loss, financial or otherwise caused by using details provided in this e book or our website’ as well as ‘the author will not be held responsible for any loss arising from the methods promoted and as such there are no guarantees of any financial gain or avoidance of loss by following this guide’. That is quie a diference from the effusive claims of almost gauranteed winnings each & every week claimed on the website.

So what do you get for your £37?

Well, pages 11 to 17 cover ‘Where to bet’ ie descriptions and links to various bookmakers and betting exchanges. Do you really want to be paying £2 per page for such readily-available-for-free information?

The method itself is almost laughable and involves backing tipster selections in daily papers (the Daily Mirror is the preferred paper). Whilst the technique is explained well, there is absolutely no attempt made to explain why the system is believed to work ie the logical reasoning behind it. This is probably because there isn’t one, in my opinion

There is also no evidence that the author has made any money with the system nor – crucially – is there any recommendations regarding staking. From what I can see, level staking stands a good chance of producing a loss each week. In which cae,recovery staking must be used to make a profit each week and even then, it all looks highly dubious and risky. But there is no information regarding staking, so you are very much on your own.

This system has lived up to one of my expectations – I expected it to be poor and it certainly is. Don’t waste your money on this one is my conclusion.
