The results look good (but don’t all services!) – but so confident is the owner of this service that he is providing a completely FREE trial until 12th Feb when it becomes a subscription service.

Psychic Soccer is certainly producing some good results; however, the main problem with using the lay selections is that you need to place the in-play lays soon after receiving email notification.

Now, i don’t know about you, but I don’t spend all of my time glued to the PC waiting for emails to arrive. And that is what let’s this service down.

The owner of the service has obviously received many comments about this shortcoming and has promised that a fully automated bot will be available shortly. This bot will automatically be updated with the lay selections and will place the bets on your behalf. This information I find very disturbing – and you should tread very carefully if you sign up for this service.

The problem I have with an automativ bot is 2-fold. Firstly, if the system is so good (and it is being touted as able to double your money every month), then why would anyone sell such a money-machine?

If you have watched my compounding videos, then you will know that doubling your money every month can produce huge profits in a short space of time. So selling a bot to everyone who is prepared to pay doesn’t make sense.

My second concern is that the bot can be used in an entirely different manner by the owner of Psychic Soccer to make a profit. Just consider what is happening – when an in-play lay is identified, everyone’s bot is updated and everyone will be trying to place a lay bet.

What do you think will happen to the odds? They will drift out; probably by quite an amount. This is the ideal situation for trading. ie the owner could place a lay bet just before the lay selection is sent to everyone’s bot and once the price has drifted, place a back bet to lock in a guaranteed profit regardless of the outcome of the match.

My advice is to be very careful with this service – the results are good but i am suspicious that there is a hidden motive behind it.

The reason for doing this was because there were a significant number of horses winning their races at high odds and so reducing profits.

I have kept a record of all selections produced by the Logical Lay System (and given out as the Losing Lays tipping service) and have now analysed several months of data.

The results are very interesting and show that there is a technique that can be applied to the selections that is making consistent monthly profits from backing selections above 11.0 BSP.

Between April 2009 and December 2009 inclusive, then you would have made a profit of 99.49 pts backing each selection with a 1 pt stake (Betfair commission not allowed for).

I will provide the past results further down in this post, but let me outline the betting strategy.

1) Work out the lay selections as normal using the Logical Lay System rules, or subscribe to the Losing Lays service.

2) Back any selection that is at odds of 11.0 Betfair SP and above just before the race starts. This is most easily done using a betting bot such as BetBotPro.

The technique does require some perseverance as there are losing months as well as highly-profitable months. The losses tend to be small amounts whereas the profits can be considerable (such as Oct 2009)

The correct team for the Slovenian match is Rudar Velenje. This mistake by Prosoccer.gr means that the match should be ignored. It is not known which team the percentage statistics actually refer to.”

The 2 – 1 score you quote as a losing bet is actually for the Rudar Velenje v Interblock game.”

Whilst August was a poor month, I want to explain in this post what I am doing and why the £100 Betting Bank Challenge is going in a slightly different direction.

In August, my betting bank made an overall loss of £66-40p. This was composed of a profit of £13-66p with horse racing lays and a loss of £80-06p on greyhounds.

Now – at first sight – it would look as if the greyhound lays have had a very bad run – but appearances can be deceptive!

During August, I started a series of tests for a completely new method of laying greyhounds. I am not going to go into too much detail – but basically, there has been something that I’ve observed on Betfair as bets are matched that I have never been able to understand.

I now believe that I know the answer! And if my answer is correct, then I have found a very profitable method for making money from greyhound laying.

To give you a feel for the profit potential, 10p lays can easily produce £2+ profit per day. That may not sound much – but just scale everything up and you’ll appreciate that it should be easy to pull £60-£100 per day from greyhound laying – even with the low liquidity for most greyhound races.

I still need to do a lot more testing of my technique to ensure that it is robust and will work day-after-day-after-day.

The video in early October covering September will give you an update as to how I’m progressing.
