ProSoccer Investment File – Tips and Results

By Chris • Jun 24th, 2009 • Category: Betting System Reviews

I have started this thread for anyone who wishes to keep track of the selections produced by the ProSoccer Investment File and the results.

The selections are those that I have found and which I have myself bet on. The odds shown are the Betfair odds that I achieved.

Fri 24th July

Because of the poor run of results from the football bets – which are pulling my £100 Betting Bank Challenge profit down – I will not be having any further real bets but will just paper-trade.

Tue 21st July

Back bet for today was Bournemouth v Fulham. Away win predicted. Result 0-0 Bet unsuccessful (Betfair odds 1.41)

Sun 19th July

Tue 14th July

Match for today was Cheltenham v Southampton. Away win predicted. Result: 0-0  Bet lost.

Sun 12th July

The ProSoccer Investment File back bet system has produced another bet for today. Once again, I am risking a small bet as part of the £100 Betting Bank Challenge. The match starts later this afternoon, so I report the result this evening.

Latest news:

Match was between Norwegian teams Stromsgodset v Rosenborg. Away win predicted. Result: 0-1 Bet won (Betfair odds of 1.63)

Sat 11th July

The ProSoccer Investment File hasn’t produced any selections for quite a while. The author of the system – Michael Thwaite – has now sent all system owners a free copy of his new soccer backing system.

There is a selection for today – the match plays later this afternoon. I have had a small bet as part of the £100 Betting Bank Challenge. I will post the teams and result later today

Latest news:

Terek Grozni v CSKA Moscow 1-1  Bet was unsuccessful.

  1. The website provide in this ebook, the Greek one P*********.gr seems quite good and provides a great analysis of stats and probability. Is this a genuine independent web site? or is it run by the author of the eBook?

  2. As far as I’m aware, it’s a totally independent site.
    Chris

  3. Is it ok to back or lay in friendly matches?

  4. As far as I can see, there is nothing in the rules to say that you can’t

    Chris

  5. I think looking at the results you should definetly not be betting in friendly matches. Before the start of the new season teams will be trying young and new players, trying out different tactics, players not fully fit.

  6. From the results, I do have to agree with you! It’s a pity that this wasn’t detailed in the manual – I’ll get Michael Thwaite to consider expanding what matches should & shouldn’t be bet on.

  7. Hi Chris,
I’m new here and to be frank i’m quite amaze by the result prosoccer investment file achieve last season.
But looking at the result lately, where it is all produced by the backing system,it seems that backing is not doing that good compare to the laying?
And also,do you think using both backing and laying will get better result for the new coming season?
Because from what i know a system that backing low price winner,it got to have a very high strike rate to make it profitbale because when you lose, you lose full stakes and when you win, you’ll win less than the amount you lose..
    So,how do you think chris?

  8. Welcome to my blog.

I agree that the Prosoccer Investment File backing system has been poor since I’ve been trialling it.But – as has been pointed out in another comment – it probably was not wise to back friendly matches at this time of the year. I shall certainly expect much better results when the new football season gets ‘bedded in ‘this autumn.

The same applies to the laying system. With any system, then you really need to test it over several months to see if it will give a good long-term performance. Many people give up far too quickly with systems and always seem to be wanting to move on to the next big over-hyped product. It’s a pity because they very often don’t recognise a gold nugget of a system that would produce excellent profits if they just gave it time or modified the system slightly.

    Chris

  9. So chris, you think this is the real deal that worth invest in?or you have came across a better soccer system..
I’ve always want to invest in soccer but i’ve never found any system that works out in long run..

  10. The laying system certainly has the results to suggest that it is a system that is worth pursuing. And – more importantly – I do feel that Michael Thwaite is honest. As I understand it, at the moment the backing system is provided free-of-charge to purchasers of the ProSoccer Investment File until the autumn soccer season gets going. After that, the backing system will be offered as an ‘add-on’ for an extra £15.

I will certainly try to keep posting the results of selections as my time permits so that people can see how the system is progressing. My main problem is that there are so many systems appearing on the market (about 2 per week at present) that it is a job for me to keep working out selections and posting results. There are only so many hours in a day!

    Chris

  11. ya,certainly that is the case for the backing system..
because unlike the laying system, the backing system had just been released and almost all the selection is for friendly match,so overall it is unproven yet for “real match”.
while the season is currently on a break now,i think we can only wait and see how the backing system will perform when all the major european league begin next month..and i hope we’ll see a good one..

  12. Sunday 26th July
    1 Back bet.Not a friendly match.
    Rovaniemirops v Lahti
    Successful bet.

  13. Do you think now is the best time to purchase the prosoccer investment file?

Because from what i know lately it seems that there are no match to bet on except some poor quality friendly match, which the result shows it is not wise to be involve using this system?

  14. The original ProSoccer Investment File just deals with the laying system. It is only because there have been no matches meeting the rules over the past few weeks that Michael Thwaite gave purchasers a free copy of his backing system. This will eventually be sold at an additional cost of £15 to the ProSoccer Investment File.

So if you buy the ProSoccer Investment File now you get both the laying and backing systems. If you wait until the Autumn football season gets going properly, then you will only get the laying system. So the choice is yours!

Personally, I am going to put my football bets on hold for a few weeks (probably mid-Sept).

    Chris

  15. Thanks for that chris.
But why are you putting your bets on hold til mid-sept?
Isn’t it good time to start placing bets using the system when the new season begin next month?

  16. Given the loss I have made this month on soccer bets for the £100 Betting Bank Challenge, i will paper-trade until I am certain that the system can produce consistent winning bets.

    Chris

  17. Just received another email promoting http://www.soccerwealth.com..
certainly another new soccer services hitting the market..
Anyone have any idea about this new service?

  18. Just had a quick look at the site – it is certainly a cheap subscription.

But if you look at the past results, it doesn’t suggest that they are doing anything really special to make selections.

For example, they claim past results include:

Kazakhstan v England (England To Win) Result – Won

Iceland v Holland (Holland To Win) Result – Won

Finland v Russia (Russia To Win) Result – Won

England v Andorra (England To Win) Result – Won

Now – I don’t know a lot about football – but I reckon I could have given the above selections. They don’t give any prices – but I suspect that all of the above would have been at very short odds.

There are no full past results showing profits and the selections are not proofed. There is one testimonial on the website but it could have been written by anyone. (Do system sellers really expect us to believe phrases such as “I have managed to turn a starting bank of £300 into just under £5,000 in just 11 weeks.” with no supporting proof whatsoever?)

    Chris

  19. Yes,big problem,the selections are not proofed.

The sales pages was a very “typical” one just like any others.

So,result not proofed, testimonials a question marks..will see if someone is gonna give it a try.

  20. I’ve just email Michael Thwaite about the backing system.
I asked him when i identify a selection to back, can i place the bet for asian handicap instead of fixed odds if the match was set at level ball…so that the selection will only lose if it lose the match, draw it will break even. And he said yes,and he is going to advise this to all the purchaser..

  21. First bet for the soccer investment file for a while with a lay on Ath Bilbao at 1.66ish and they lost 1-0

  22. Thanks eddiem 1 for the info. I have to admit that I haven’t checked whether there are any matches meeting the ProSoccer Investment Files for a few days. The lays do seem to be performing pretty well. Odds of 1.66 for the match you mentioned are pretty good.

    Chris

  23. Hello I,m biblos. Which are for you the 3-4 top betting systems in absolute?

  24. Hi Biblos

That is quite a difficult question to answer. Personally, I find that it is best to take systems that have good reviews and then to modify them so that I get a higher strike-rate. This is not too difficult to do – but does require a lot of time and collecting data.

You should also remember that systems that are extremely good would never be sold by their owner.

    Chris

  25. Hello Chris,

I am french so excuse me for my poor english :-)
Do you often follow the pro soccer ?
In august i found 2 bets for the Backing system. they were successful.

  26. I am not posting ProSoccer selections for the time being. I will probably just paper-trade for a few weeks until I am confident with the selections once the new UK soccer season is fully under way.

    Chris

  27. I think overall the Prosoccer laying is doing fine since the launch..
It is the backing system that produces inconsistency..
For me i’ll start laying the selection when the new season begin while for the backing system,i think it’s wise to paper trade for another few weeks or so like you said..

  28. Hi guys 2 more lays for the system and both successful @1.8 on Sat & 1.66 tonight, so far 3 from 3 and a good start to the season.
