The reason for doing this was because there were a significant number of horses winning their races at high odds and so reducing profits.

I have kept a record of all selections produced by the Logical Lay System (and given out as the Losing Lays tipping service) and have now analysed several months of data.

The results are very interesting and show that there is a technique that can be applied to the selections that is making consistent monthly profits from backing selections above 11.0 BSP.

Between April 2009 and December 2009 inclusive, then you would have made a profit of 99.49 pts backing each selection with a 1 pt stake (Betfair commission not allowed for).

I will provide the past results further down in this post, but let me outline the betting strategy.

1) Work out the lay selections as normal using the Logical Lay System rules, or subscribe to the Losing Lays service.

2) Back any selection that is at odds of 11.0 Betfair SP and above just before the race starts. This is most easily done using a betting bot such as BetBotPro.

The technique does require some perseverance as there are losing months as well as highly-profitable months. The losses tend to be small amounts whereas the profits can be considerable (such as Oct 2009)

Tomorrow – Thurs 16th July at 10 am – sees the launch of the latest betting system product to hit the digital downloads from Clickbank. This one is called Supreme Handicap and you can find the website at www.SupremeHandicap.co.uk

This betting technique has been written by Andy White who has sent me a preview copy to review.

So what do you get for your money?

The download consists of a 25-page ebook plus an Excel spreadsheet to be used with the system; and 2 explanatory videos for the system and the spreadsheet.

The system is designed to pick horses that you can back.

Quite a bit of the ebook consists of “padding”. For example, it starts off with a brief history of racing in the UK plus a list of the main race meetings in the racing year.

This is then followed by factors that affect a race outcome and a section on how to use bookmakers’ sign up offers to make risk-free profit. Useful – but not the main core of the system that is being promoted.

The ‘guts’ of the system – ie the rules and procedure for selecting the horse(s) to back in particular races – starts on page 17.

The system is easy to follow and can be implemented without using the accompanying spreadsheet. The spreadsheet will however make life easier for some people.

The technique used is not one that I have seen before.

Does the system work?

As ever for most systems promoted with fancy websites and sold via Clickbank, this is where the Supreme Handicap system falls down badly.

In the ebook, the only proof is a table listing what the author claims are the total number of selections made by the system; and the number of winners for the years 2006-2009 inclusive. Hardly convincing stuff!

I am told by the author that there will be more proof on the sales page when it fully appears after 10am on Thursday 16th July. We shall see.

I am still unable to understand why so many system sellers seem incapable of registering a free proofing account with Racing-Index and getting at least some sort of independent proofing done to back up their performance claims.

If I can find the time, I will try using the system and post some selections on here to see how the selection process performs.

I have no idea how much the system will be sold for – but I daresay it will be in the £30-£50 range as most of them are.

The salespage is now live and -as expected – the “proof” that the system works leaves a lot to be desired. There are screenshots purporting to show individual successful back bets. But even if these are not fakes, just one successful bet outcome tells us nothing about the long-term consistent (or otherwise) profitability of the betting technique.

My guess as to the price of the system was nearly spot-on – it is selling for £39-95p

One of visitors to this blog has emailed the author, Andy, of Betfair Horse Power querying the figures in the screenshot.

The reply is very interesting to say the least!!!!

Andy claims that he has been working on a cricket system and using the same Betfair account to test it out. He then writes “Alterations had to be made for the horse racing so it didn’t look like cricket was being played.”

Two slight problems for Andy with this reply:

1) “alterations had to be made” proves that the screenshot has been modified with graphics software.

2) But the biggest problem for Andy is to explain why the 17 horse races do not add up to the profit figure shown for ‘Horse racing’. Andy has obviously forgotten that Betfair shows both the total for all sports plus the profit/loss breakdown for each sport – so why is there still a discrepancy?

I’m sure that anyone following this can see exactly what is going on with this screenshot – it is faked.

Update: 19th June

The sales copy on the website has now been altered so that it is no longer possible to click and see the full profit & loss details. Good job that my video preserves everything for posterity.

All that remains on the sales page is a screen shot titled ” Screenshot Of ‘One Day’ Profits Of £735 On 11th June 2009″ – but if you add up the figures shown on the screen for 11th June, they do NOT total £735……..!

Such blatant inaccuracies do make me question the honesty of the system vendor – but that hasn’t stopped people from buying the system via my affiliate link.

As I’ve pointed out in the recent emails I’ve sent out regarding Bookie Robbery, I am not endorsing it in any way; I have not seen or used the product; and I have no idea if the claims made on the sales page are genuine or not.

This honesty – and my pointing out that any purchases of Bookie Robbery will earn me money via my affiliate link – has upset one or two people (but far less than the number of people who have already bought Bookie Robbery via my link!)

As I have pointed out to one emailer, I do not run my services, websites and blog and produce videos just for the fun of it. Like every other betting website owner, my aim is to make money for the effort that I put into creating valuable information that you can use to make money.

I take pride in producing honest information and providing far more proof than just about any other tipster or system seller that my systems and techniques work. That is why the emails I sent out about Bookie Robbery did not lie.

I could have written that the system is brilliant (and everyone else promoting the system over the coming weeks will doubtless say that it is even though they probably haven’t seen or tried the product). But I decided to be honest and tell the truth.

Is Bookie Robbery any good?

I haven’t a clue. I might buy a copy and see what it’s all about. After all, the Bingo Bonus Blaster turned out to be not quite as big a load of rubbish as I was expecting. The videos show that I made a profit when I was expecting to lose all my money!

And since then, I have taken advantage of another offer from Ladbroke’s Bingo and I turned £25 into just over £65!

But back to Bookie Robbery…. anyone who has purchased the system is free to post their comments/review of the product here. Let us all know if you’ve had any success using it, or if it is just another over-hyped and poorly thought-out system.

Now that all 50 copies of the Greyhound Lays Exposed manual have been sold, it seemed unfair to only use greyhound lay bets selected using the information in Greyhound Lays Exposed. If i did, then you would not be able to place similar bets yourself because you probably wouldn’t have access to the information in Greyhound Lays Exposed.

I therefore decided to switch my selections from greyhounds to horses – and specifically, to use the Logical Lay System selections.

This is the system that I developed when I first started laying greyhounds on Betfair. It certainly helped me to grow my betting bank and build up my tax-free income from Betfair.
